For this issue’s #BOOK, we invited Shinsuke Kanno, co-founder of the Tokyo-based Riso studio Hand Saw Press, to share a recipe from their staff meal—VEGE LUNCH. For #FOOD, we invited Sheere Ng, co-founder of the Singaporean publishing initiative In Plain Words, to offer a humorous yet incisive reflection on “carrots” in Singaporean supermarkets. For #HOOD, under the pretext of sharing a meal and conducting an interview, we visited the home of Taiwanese visual artist Lulu Lin to talk about making work, eating, and the small details of everyday life. Finally, the book closes with a Cook-It-Yourself kit created by the book's designer Cheng Ya, inviting readers to roll up their sleeves and assemble their very own mini edition of COOKBOOK.
